The essence of Praise Is the Cure® is the infusing of wellness, awareness, fun and fellowship into a week-long community festival. During the 11th annual Praise Is The Cure® Week of Hope, Health & Healing families across the Delaware Valley will converge for an amenities filled weeklong retreat that blends: health advocacy, soulful cuisine, family friendly entertainment, health screenings, pampering, wellness workshops, sponsor pavilions, Gospel Concert Extravaganza, and a Benefit Dance Concert together for the ultimate goal of spreading Hope, Health and Healing!

Praise Sunday
September 25, 2016
Survivors, volunteers and other advocates will visit 50+ faith-based and community organizations to make educational presentations on Breast Health and distribute life-saving information to those in attendance. Children's Festival
September 28, 2016
Inspired by the book “My Mommy Has Breast Cancer, But She Is Ok,” this program educates children about Breast Cancer and encourages adults to have open discussions about the disease with their children. Events will feature a fun filled afternoon of story time, games and other activities for children ages 2 to 10 and their parents.


Health Fair
October 1, 2016
An opportunity for attendees to get mammograms and other health screenings such as blood pressure, BMI and glucose. Attendees will receive literature, participate in healthy living workshops facilitated by wellness professionals and receive a delicious health conscious meal.


Breast Cancer Patients and Survivors Pamper Party
October 1, 2016
A "Celebration of Life" for breast cancer patients and survivors with spa treatments, make up artistry, glamour shots, discussion groups lead by health and other professionals, dance and other fun activities all while enjoying a scrumptious catered meal.


Men's Only Forum: "Real Men Wear Pink"
October 1, 2016
An interactive workshop acknowledging the critical role men play in supporting patients and survivors where through education and real talk men learn how support loved ones with breast cancer. Gospel Concert Extravaganza
October 1, 2016
Breast cancer patients, survivors, family, friends and the community at large come together for a Gospel Musical Extravaganza featuring renowned artist and entertainers. All attendees will receive life-saving information on breast health.


Benefit Dance Concert
